These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NVTme (the "Site"), a website that lets people post and browse local events such as yard sales, lemonade stands, holiday light displays, and charity events. By using the Site, submitting an event, or creating a staff account, you agree to these Terms.
NVTme is a listing platform. We provide the tools to post an event's location, schedule, and description, and to browse what others have posted. We do not organize, sponsor, verify, inspect, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legitimacy of any event listed on the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit an event or create a staff account. If an event is being run by or on behalf of a minor (for example, a child's lemonade stand), a parent or legal guardian must be the one who submits it and agrees to these Terms — the adult submitter is responsible for the listing, not the child.
When you post an event, the address or landmark you provide, along with the map location, title, description, schedule, and any photo you upload, becomes visible to anyone who visits the Site — including people who have not created an account. Your contact email and phone number are kept private and are never displayed publicly.
You are solely responsible for deciding what location information to share. If you'd rather not show your exact home address, you can enter a nearby cross-street or landmark instead and still pin the general area on the map.
Attending an event you found on this Site, and hosting an event that admits visitors to your property, are both activities you undertake at your own risk. We do not vet who attends, who hosts, or what happens at any listed event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk of loss, injury, theft, property damage, or other harm arising from attending or hosting an event found through the Site.
The Site and all listings are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, current, or that an event will actually occur as described.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owners and operators of this Site are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, injury, theft, or dispute arising from or related to: (a) any event listing; (b) your attendance at, or hosting of, an event found through the Site; (c) interactions with other users; or (d) your use of the Site generally — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to remove, hide, or decline any listing for any reason, including in response to a report from another visitor. Listings may also expire automatically based on the schedule the poster provided.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners and operators of this Site from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms.
The Site uses Google Maps and Google reCAPTCHA, each subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
